Drop Wizard App Comentários

MAGIC

Divertido descendente espiritual do Bubble Bobble. Já estava de olho nele desde antes do lançamento, e acabou superando minhas expectativas. Gráficos e música excelentes.

Incrivel!!!

Me lembra bastante dos games antigos do Nintendo, perfeito, valeu a pena cada centavo

Great fun app, but the lack of iCloud backup, save, and support.

No matter how fun it is while it didn’t last forever, I’m still criticizing the lack of iCloud, save, backup, and support no matter why, That explains why it isn’t a must-buy with lack of anything else for anyone of them. Thank you for understanding.😌

Doesn’t work on iPhone XS Max

Says that it’s compatible with “my iPhone” but the game isn’t full-screen; in fact it takes up only 25% of my screen and the left/right controls don’t work.

Love it

It’s amazing good job i am hooked on this game and created of hearing this make part two

It’s ok

I can’t get past 2-1 it’s so hard for me well I still love your games

Añadan más modos de juego

Añadan un modo de juego en el q se pueda jugar de forma continua sin la necesidad de andar escogiendo los escenarios es muy tedioso y le quita lo “arcade” al juego

Bad control

I get seriously frustrated with the poor response of the directional controls. Your fingers are quick enough, but the glass isn't.

Not worth the time

The game has nice design and good artwork but the story of the game is horrible, and I felt like the final boss was more of a hard enemy than the dark wizard of the land. I finished the game dissatisfied and would not recommend this.

Glitchy

The game is ok to play passing time, but it freezes constantly and doesn't go onto the next unlock set half the time, it's been deleted, too frustrating dealing with the glitches

Thanks Obama

This game is the best thing to have ever happened to me in my whole existence bush did 911

Great Game - Only One Problem

It's too short! I loved it and now I want more levels. Other than that, really fun.

Addicting

Super fun arcade style game. Only qualm is that I beat it and it was pretty anticlimactic. Told me I should go after all the stars. Cool! I did and then nothing happened lol. Still a great, addicting game. Wish they would have added more levels while I was enjoying the game. Now that it's over, I deleted it.

Addicting fun

This game was fun and I could not put it down.

Miss old frustrating Nintendo games?

Then this game is for you. Super easy. Except for the final boss. Oh yeah, and how far they inexplicably start you from the boss. Really fun and comfy game to play. Until the final boss.

No control

Poor control to drop down, one out of 5+ times work, frustrating!

Only one thing I have an issue with

The gameplay was addictive and fun, and I LOVE how they didn't do the stupid "Oh no you ran out of lives now you have to wait 15 minutes!" But there is something I have a problem with. This game is so. Freaking. Short. This should DEFINITELY have an update with at least 5 more worlds with two levels in each world like it currently is. Other than that, I absolutely LOVE this game :)

Great

So fun and challenging.

Cute Game

This is a cute game. I really like the 8-bit style and the music, too. However, I am not a big fan of the controls. Moving my phone side to side can be kind of annoying. Other than that, great game. I would recommend this to anyone.

Good thing it was free

Not worth paying for.

Cute, arcade, lame.

Great sounds, great arcade music, simple idea. Lame gameplay. Not my kinda game but maybe you would like it better than me. I could see this getting addicting for the right person.

If you have ever played Bubble Bobble

...on the original NES, then this game will be right up your alley. Cutesy character designs, upbeat music and even little fruit to collect for defeating monsters. I got this app free thanks to the Starbucks app- otherwise I would never pay for it. Cute, but not worth the $ IMO.

Amazing.

This game is truly amazing. I would give it ten stars if I could.. The game has a lovely Kirby influence and feel to it, while still having its own complete story and characters. I'm personally rooting for a sequel or update because it feels so short, and I enjoy it so much. The ending feels really heartwarming and I can't wait to get the sequel (hopefully) someday.

Great arcade-style fun!

I don't usually write reviews, I just want to say the game is great and very well designed. People that are complaining about the controls don't seem to understand that they are intentionally designed to make you think, which I guess some people can't handle...

Omg da best#2 boss help

Okay okay I love this game but the last boss is soooo hard I'm not saying that I'm going to get rid of it because I'm going to keep trying anyway when it gets to the final part in the last boss can u plz give us r HP back because the level is realy hard and when I have one ❤️ left and when I beat the first part in the battle then he transform its realy heard so PLZ give us are hp back cause who ever heard of giving the boss ❤️❤️❤️ and u have ❤️ or ❤️❤️ game still great though.

Fun Light-Hearted Game!

If you enjoy easy to play, colorful, quirky puzzle games, you'll enjoy this. Very cutesy, graphics similar to the Kirby video games.

Fantastic!

This game is so fun and charming, it is hard not to smile when playing. The aesthetics and music are amazing (reminiscent of the Kirby and Paper Mario games in a way, in terms of style and how each stage is a literal one, with curtains and an audience) and the unique gameplay is quite fun. While it takes a bit of getting good at, it's easy to pick up and play. Definitely a game worth your time and money!

Frusturating Controls

Shameless copy of Nintendo's "Kirby" series with frustrating controls that take forever to get used to. Tedious levels with little to no interesting gameplay, I honestly was not impressed.

Good but

The app is good but you need to add more cooler stuff

Misleading and Boring

Looked like it was going to be a Kirby-like game. The graphics are excellent but the gameplay and controls are unfortunately not very good. Sorry.

Really good and worth it!!!

It took a little to get used to but once you get used to it it's good! Trust me you will like it. It is fun and will keep you smiling 10/10!!!

Fantastic

This game is very fun. Love the retro feel that this game shows off. The only thing I could complain about is that I found it quite short. I hope you guys are developing more levels for us! Worth the 2 bucks!

10/10!

This game is wonderful! The design is airtight, with seamless and consistent high-end pixel art that Nintendo themselves couldn't outdo. (Drop Wizard takes a lot of visual cues from the Kirby games, an obvious inspiration.) I love the main gameplay mechanic: it's fresh, but still has a familiar platformer feel. The characters and environments succeed one another in a very elegant way that allows you to pick up the game's ideas intuitively without rushing. Drop Wizard is PeRfEcT for mobile devices and seems truly designed with the platform in mind, not something I can say about many other developers. The music (and sound design!) is emotional and nostalgic, the art is thorough and detailed and cute, and the levels are clever and fun! One of my favorite iOS games to date. :-)

A neat retro-styled arcade game

First off this is a beautiful game. Im an artist and a very visual person, so the graphics alone convinced me to buy this game. I've played this game and put it back down a number of times but I still can't figure out what I don't like about it. One thing is that the controls don't seem 'right'. It could be the auto-walk or possibly the drop firing (which I realize is where the game name comes from), but whatever it is it just doesn't seem to click. I can't deny it's amazing graphics, smooth animations, cute characters, and the very fitting soundtrack, but with all of that said im just not crazy about it. In conclusion I think I want to like this game more than I really do. If you're looking for a unique retro-styled arcade game then I think it's definitely worth the dollar, just don't expect it to compare it to the classics.

A great homage to classic video games

This game is amazing. It reminds me of the glory days of arcade games and consoles (1970s and 80s). The controls are great (but take some getting used to), the music is retro, and the difficulty presents a good challenge. Hopefully some additional levels are eventually added. Congrats to the developers on a stellar game. Buy it!

Great game!

simple controls, fun gameplay, cute graphics, catchy music. the gameplay is easy to grasp, and every level plays out sort of like a puzzle. highly recommended

Fun stuff!

Took a second to get used to the mechanics, but once I did it was really fun and addictive. Some people seem to dislike that the character is always moving, but to me that adds to the challenge. I mean, all you are doing is pressing 2 directions. The game needs a way to stay fast paced and I think maybe that is why they did that. Retro games were always tough and you would die a lot until you got the rhythm down. But that's what I liked about them. This game has that element to it, along with great retro graphics and 16-bit music. Is this up to par with a Super Nintendo game with the Super Nintendo controller? Of course not. But for a 99-cent iPhone game this is really quite great!

For the music alone...

This is a pretty good buy. Feeling the artwork as well. No complaints about the control scheme as yet. Fruit is delicious.

Fantastic!

I love everything about this game, the graphics, the music, the simple concept. I only wish there was a way to stop running but I guess you could argue it adds to the games charm and challenge.

Auto run controls spoil it

It's a cool concept. Great graphic style. But when you press the control left or right to move it just starts making the character continue to run unlike traditional platformers which only move while the button is pressed. It's probably not a big issue for most, but I don't like it. Change the controls and I'll play it again.

Not perfect but fun

Nice Kirby-like graphics and music. The negative comments are a little extreme. This is a simple little game that has a nice renewed retro feel. Having said that, I do have a few complaints. -The controls aren't awful as some have said but I would prefer just one touch controls to change from direction instead of two side controls. -It gets quite annoying when I lose a life to falling on top of an enemy. I might suggest being able to hurt enemies by hitting their head. -Also, with the enemies that need to be hit twice, you can get stuck between it and the wall you have to lose a life. -What are the points for???

Cute, repetitive, simple

Cute little throwback platformer with some interesting ideas. Very simple and repetitive gameplay. Needs more variety.

Drop Wizard is all you really need in a arcade style game

I believe this game holds its on with some of the best arcade games in the App Store must buy in my opinion.

Don't listen to anyone who didn't give this 4-5 stars

His is classic old school gaming. It takes skill and strategy and isn't easy to beat right away (but you'll get the hang of it quick). Any one who wrote a review criticizing the controls would have probably given Dig-Dug or Galaga bad reviews too. They don't really understand the game and don't want the challenge. Just download and play it. It's great.

Good game but controls are horrible

This game has a good back story and I love how it's a retro game, but the controls are so so bad. If the creator sees this, PLEASE change the controls.

Loving Homage to Classic Gaming

Anyone who remembers classics like Bubble Bobble or Rod-Land will enjoy the nostalgic rush this game provides. With its cute graphics and cheery music, it's hard not to be charmed by the whole production. The only area of disappointment concerns the auto-run control scheme, which some gamers are bound not to like despite that they work well within the limitations of the touch screen. I believe they add a nice element of technique and challenge to the proceedings once the initial awkwardness is overcome, but some alternate control options would still be appreciated. Otherwise, this title is well worth the price.

Not what it seemed

Thought it was gonna be more like Mario Bros or bubble bobble control wise. Got bored after a few stages... :(

Isnt what it seems

I thought this game was going to be fun,I thought you were supposed to move around and shoot at your own will, but when it says drop wizard,IT MEANS drop wizard. When you press left or right, the wizard keeps going in that direction until you press the other direction.and the only way to shoot is to go down a platform,if you want to go back to the top,you need to fall down,BORINNG

WOW!!!

Nothing but a blank gray screen, what fun!! You're lucky that they "make us" give you the one star. Come on devs, get on the ball.

Pretty good game, just one thing.

Art style is fun and charming, but the controls are really unresponsive. If they were just a bit crisper the game could easily be 4 or 5 stars.

A fun little gem

I saw this online, and I thought I'd pick it up. For the price, it's a sweet game! Very charming, and a lot of polish. I like how the mechanics of auto-run and drop-shoot make the game more strategic, especially when trying to build a giant snowball combo. And the Music and art are great! Definitely worth your time, and a lot of simple, pure fun.
